Meet The Founders
Lyle Wick McClain, LMFT, LPCC, LAADC
As founder and co owner of Bridge The Gap, Lyle brings extensive experience from her private practice and work within treatment centers across multiple levels of care. She is deeply passionate about empowering individuals to build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful progress through personalized, real world support.
Drawing from both professional expertise and lived experience, Lyle recognized that traditional therapy models alone are often not enough to create lasting change. As someone who personally experienced the need for more consistent, hands on support beyond the therapy room and treatment environment, she founded Bridge The Gap to address the gap between clinical care and daily life.
Through her work in treatment centers, Lyle observed a recurring challenge across age groups individuals frequently struggled after discharge due to limited transitional and aftercare support. Without consistent real time guidance, many found themselves cycling back into higher levels of care.
Bridge The Gap was created to change that pattern. By offering boots on the ground, in home support and real life transition coaching, the program provides continuity of care that supports individuals through critical moments of change. Working collaboratively with individuals, families, and referring professionals, Bridge The Gap delivers comprehensive, clinically informed support designed to promote stability, independence, and long term progress.
Sally McClain, LCSW
As co owner of Bridge The Gap, Sally is dedicated to helping individuals build confidence, stability, and overall wellness through structured, clinically informed mentoring and in home support services. Her work is grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when therapeutic insight is supported consistently in real world environments.
Sally holds a Master’s degree from USC and is certified in Equine Assisted Therapy. She brings a broad and integrative clinical background to Bridge The Gap, including experience in dual diagnosis treatment, neurofeedback, and clinical research at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. This diverse training informs her work with individuals navigating complex mental health concerns, executive functioning challenges, eating disorders, anxiety, and chronic illness.
In addition to her role at Bridge The Gap, Sally maintains a private practice in Westlake Village, where she specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, anxiety, and chronic health conditions. Her clinical expertise, combined with Bridge The Gap’s boots on the ground mentoring and in home support model, allows her to help individuals translate therapeutic work into sustainable progress in daily life.
Sally works collaboratively with individuals, families, and referring professionals to ensure continuity of care and long term outcomes that extend well beyond the therapy office.
